Shawn Howell

Accompanist for East Tennessee Children's Choir and Emory Virginia Children's Choir

Shawn Howell has been a music educator for over a decade. He has taught music and led ensembles for all age groups (elementary through high school) and has given private piano lessons through multiple piano studios. He has most recently taught in Marion, Virginia, where he served as the choral director for Marion Middle School and Marion Senior High School. His ensembles over the years have won honors at multiple festivals, and one of his high school choirs performed in a combined ensemble at the NAMM show in 2019. He currently serves as the full time Minister of Music and Worship at Abingdon Baptist Church where he leads multiple vocal and instrumental ensembles.
