MECCA's dynamic program provides children in grades 1-3 with music literacy, listening skills, and music fundamentals. Led by Director/Instructor Andrea Cottrill for Emory Explorers and Dr. Lauren Ramey for Johnson City Explorers, class meets for one hour each week. Singers explore the world of music through singing, movement, games, improvisation, and other activities. The Explorers will perform in at least two public concerts each year with the MECCA choirs.
